I have been a long time customer of Masala Killiney. I used to live in Dun Laoghaire, towards the East
Pier where you couldn’t get delivery from them, but you could get delivery at my then girlfriend, now
wife’s place in Royal Terrace East. Safe to say we were ordering in once a week and if we were going
past the graduate roundabout, we were making a stop.
The food has been impeccable from the very first time we ordered. Food was always fresh, flavourful
and also made a bit punchy if and when requested. Over the years and through COVID, not once did
the quality drop.
We got married last week, and the first place that we reached out to was Masala Killiney. That was
my first interaction with Vinod, who was extremely courteous and polite from the get go. After a few
email exchanges, we were invited over for a tasting and my god, he put me in a food coma in 10
minutes. We made no changes from what we had at our tasting, everything was beautifully scaled up
for a party of 100 and our guests couldn’t compliment the food enough. We had a lot of
Indian/Pakistani doctors from my father-in-law’s side and if they loved the food (a rare occurrence), it
is a guarantee that the food was top notch.
Vinod was 100% transparent with us through the process, be it pricing, menu options, allergens, how
taste and texture might change as we didn’t have access to a kitchen at the venue, so Vinod and
team had to prep food at the restaurant and bring it over to the venue. The crisp prawn pakoras, the
nicely roasted chicken tikka, the signature aroma of the biryani, wait there is more to come, desserts
that no one else can offer in Ireland, Shahi Tukda, Vinod left no stone unturned for our wedding and
we cannot be more grateful to him and the team.
We asked Masala to cater for a celebratory lunch at our business in Carrickmines. They arrived on
time and delivered a very beautiful meal for our team. The whole team enjoyed the meal and I don’t
think any of us needed dinner that evening as there was a great amount of food! The food was
packaged to keep it safe and warm and was enjoyed by all. Delicious
Scumptious food in a wedding today with Masala team catering! From meat,vegeterian to desert
everything was absolutely on mark. Everyone in the wedding seemed to be happy and relishing their
moment with aromatic flavours. Will not hesitate to drive 70kms just for the deliciousness again!

We had a takeaway for 12 guests and it was packed meticulously as well food was of high taste and
quality. The restaurant managed it all so well, so highly recommend it.
